Bazaar Festival celebrates 10 years. It could be balanced, but it's not quite our style. Therefore, for our tenth anniversary, we invited the younger generation of artists from Central and Eastern Europe to the Czech theater and dance scene, who place emphasis not only on the final work, but above all on the practice. This year's theme is BRAVE PRACTICES. You can experience them for yourself from March 15 to 25 at PONCI - theater for dance, Alfred in the courtyard, X10 Theater, ARŠE+ and other places in Prague. The end of March is starting to traditionally belong to the independent scene of progressive artists from Central and Eastern Europe. The ninth year of the dance and theater Bazaar Festival will take place from March 23 to 26 at several locations in Prague. After a long and restrictive covid period and a year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Bazaar opens the topic of care and urges the audience: Let's take care! But the question is, about whom or what? Can we take enough care of ourselves? Or do we just like to have something in our hands?

The seventh anniversary of Bazaar Festival of Dance and Theatre will begin in just a few days. As has become tradition, viewers can look forward to works by artists from central and eastern Europe, but this year will be a bit different. Prominent European scientists focusing on the climate and biodiversity crises and the state of our landscape will step into the art world for a series of discussions. The Bazaar Festival thus becomes not only a cultural event, but one that connects the worlds of science and culture in an innovative and provocative way and issues a call to action to the viewer.
