This panel will draw from years of experiences and use the example of de facto Theatre of Zagreb's large-scale dance and theatre performance AGENDA with Croatian, Swiss and German artists (cancelled from Bazaar 2026 festival due to unclear funding situation in Czech Republic). Its cocreator Saša Božič, co-founder of de facto theatre and dramaturg of Isabelle Schad's Pieces and Elements and theatre and film producer Ivana Brajdić lead this two-hour panel discussion and sharing session on the challenges of co-creating larger international coproductions in Central and Eastern Europe, moderated by Bazaar Festival programmer Ewan McLaren. First discussing the creation of work that circulates well across national contexts, participants will touch on shared risk between partners, as well as ownership, touring strategy, and artistic development.

The sharing practice will take place in English.
